We love welcoming guests to Chapelton Cottage and really appreciate feedback. Take a look at what past guests have said:

"Chapelton Cottage was perfect for my break away with my dog. Peaceful location, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. Liz was so helpful in my last minute booking and there is so much to explore round about including visit to Braemar, Linn Reekie waterfall, Peel Farm and Dunkeld. Fabulous wheelchair access if needed too"

"Golf near Chapelton Cottage:

While staying at Chapelton Cottage we played at five courses - Blairgowrie, Alyth and Strathmore, all within 15 mins drive, and Forfar and Kerrimuir within 30 mins drive.

All the courses are good and well worth playing, Alyth and Forfar were my favorites, but Blairgowrie was in particularly good condition with excellent fast greens. We played the Landsdown course which is simple up and down parkland course. When I play there again, I hope to play the Rosemount course which I have been told is more interesting and varied."

"We had a wonderful week, enjoying the home comforts of Liz’s comfy Chapelton cottage, whilst enjoying the local area. The cottage offers the opportunity to escape from the rigours of our covid lives and enjoy the open countryside on your doorstep. Nature is all around you, with numerous birds, (including the Starlings moving in a murmuration, a joy to see), the frequent visits of the local rabbits and we even heard, then saw a swarm of bees keeping up with their queen."

"Beautiful location, peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. We woke up twice to a deer in the field behind us. The cottage is so comfortable - after full days settees, chairs and beds fantastic. Kitchen has everything you need."

"The cottage is just perfect, in a beautiful countryside setting. It's so peaceful and the baby bunnies outside were very cute. We even had wonderful weather so can't think of anything to improve the experience.
Look forward to returning for a longer stay next time.
Many thanks, it was fantastic"

"Superbly equipped and comfortable cottage. Spacious and finished with quality furniture and equipment. Located just 3 minutes from the beautiful town of Blairgowrie with all the amenities one would require to spend a holiday in this stunning area of Scotland. Liz, the owner was constantly in communication with us prior to, and during our stay to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. We hope to return in the future"

"Beautifully renovated cottage ‘out in the middle of nowhere’ but close to Blairgowrie. Had a lovely 2 night stay in the cottage taking full advantage of wood burning fire. Very relaxing and would highly recommend. Dog friendly too for anyone wanting to take their 4 legged members of the family! 😊 "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapelton Cottage. The views of the local countryside are fantastic and we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset ☀️ 🌅 The cottage is comfortable and spacious; it has everything you need for a relaxing break. Our daughter loved playing the guitar and we enjoyed a gin and tonic or few outside in the garden! It’s an excellent base for exploring the Cairngorms and also the beaches at Lunan and St. Cyrus. Our dog loved his holiday too and there was plenty of space for him to run around. We were sad to leave!"

"Enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Also have to mention the summerhouse- so lovely! The only thing for us was we would have liked either a small table lamp or floor lamp in sitting area for a more subdued lighting but other than that we felt very comfortable and all facilities were good."
